Dan Krasnoff
Executive Director
Dan Krasnoff has been Executive Director of Central West End Midtown Development since October 2002. Under the guidance of the Board of Directors, Dan works closely with the Development, Infrastructure, Finance, Security and Marketing Committees to implement the organization's vision in the target area of the Central West End and Midtown neighborhoods.
Dan previously worked for the St. Louis Heritage Commission (now the Cultural Resources Office) and the Planning and Urban Design Agency. Dan left work for the City to become Executive Director of the St. Louis County Boundary Commission, which he led for three years. He has a bachelor's degree from the New School University in New York City and a master's degree in historic preservation/American studies from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dan grew up in St. Louis County.
Kristin Rapinac
17th Ward Communications Director
As 17th Ward Communications Director, Kristin Rapinac updates the 17thwardstl.org website, blog, Facebook and Twitter accounts, edits the 17th Ward Report and E-Report, produces marketing and communications materials and writes grants. Kristin’s professional background includes stints as a newspaper editor, marketing coordinator, bilingual sales service rep, volunteer program director for a refugee agency and an Arabian horse trainer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Missouri with a concentration in journalism and criminology and is fluent in French.
Kristin grew up in Minnesota and has lived in Illinois, Kansas and Wisconsin. Now a Central West End resident, Kristin enjoys playing a part in improving her neighborhood.
